Not that I want to be seen as saying that ImageReady is great at everything
<G>, but I would comment that it also has a very slick "slicing" tool for
splitting an image into parts and then providing you with the table code to
display it. The image parts are automatically labeled to match the table
code which includes the image scr= definitions. In a way it's a little more
automation than I want or need, but I have to admit it is convenient.
As to these two programs opening animated gifs, I am curious as to whether
they will open animated gifs created in other applications and then let you
edit them.
What other built-in effects does Fireworks have that ImageReady does not?
I'm curious. Of course, ImageReady is still at v1.0 and naturally they will
add more stuff in v2.0.
These two apps seem to be in direct competition with each other! Yeah! I
love it.
Now if we could just get more people to realize that there _is_ an
alternative to Windows - it's called the Mac :>) Every time I read some
stupid newspaper article about how Windows has "no competition" I cringe.
What are they thinking? Most of the computer media is a bunch of
brainwashed morons.
