Nonsense. It's quite well organized, and once you learn the basics,
it's very easy to master the advanced stuff, which is just built
on top of it in logical fashion. You just need to learn the commands
in the order in which they were written. ;-)
I've been through just about every Unix editor ever written: ed, ned,
led, re, jove, emacs, pico, xed, and about a dozen others. Vi, despite
its age, is still the tightest and best-organized.
