Last year I was planning to buy a second PC to do some experiment
with Linuz.
I've tried to install Linux on my only machine with dual boot (not so
bad but not enough).

I'm used to experiment a lot and 2 OSes on the same machine doubled
the "reinstallation time".

As a newbie Linux user (being unable to stop myself to put the hands
on the kernel [no coding of course]) system crashes were very
frequent. So I decided to wait another PC.

My activity as a webmaster/developer etc.. is grown (also in terms of
income). I can't afford any more PC crashes.

Now I've got 2 PC but unfortunately, in the space of 2 days I've
discovered how it's fruitful to have a small lan at home. Furthermore
in terms of priority I need more an NT machine to experiment with
than a Linux machine.

During the time I've had Linux on my dual boot machine I've had just
the possibility to perceive how Linux is powerful and customizable (I
really like this kind of philosophy, I can't resist to customize my
PC as an Harley Davidson, even if I prefer HP rather than chrome)

But while the act of discovery in Win machine seems just to find new
hidden buttons/options, I think customizing Linux could be a more
creative work. This is just a sensation. I have had few week of
Linux experience. Have I caught the feeling?

And customization is half way to new software.

I've played with WNT proxyes cfg just because I need them but I was
imagining how those kind of things could be done really better under
Linux.

I told this just to say how I envy you :-)

I'll wait till my 3rd computer...
