Hey! No problem - You're not responsible for my feelings, and I believed it
wasn't intentional, malicious - thanks for your apology, but ... I think
none needed, really. Your willingness to offer one appreciated.

Got it - thanks.

Mmmm, appreciate you stand behind it - "you don't like it..." I dont'
think I said anything like this - I think you own this thought, "Yarko don't
like java..." ... actually, I can point you to a few papers, but that's
another discussion... and has nothing to do with why I think that's not a
good suggestion here.

Confluence would be a distraction - it is not the language of web2py and
because of the docutils formatting, and sphinx... direction we've decided
on, someone would need to then write a module in java to do that
rendering... distraction. Might as well put the effort into web2py
implementation (at least its the same language we're doing all this in).

As it is, we have a lot of "complexity" to deal with - CSS, javascript /
jquery... SQL-Like thinking of DAL... as it is, our minds already have to
operate in 4 "language-types".... don't want another.

Thank you, and welcome.

And certainly, I will avoid judging you - judging the content of posts (like
looking for bugs in code!) is what I'll always look at; when something
bothers me, when I think there is a reason I say so. Understanding
motivations (e.g. "why did someone ask this question? is there missing
information or content that is important?") is also a natural part of this.

Your end of the bargain is clarity, and (I would suggest) speaking for
yourself - "_I'd_ like to see you guys check out Confluence because..." as
compared to "Why are _you_ guys wasting time..." is an example. If you
think it's not important, then look at what happens when its repeated too
much in the "you" instead of "I". The systemic reason is by focusing on
what I think, I leave the door open to what others think, and that is
conducive to exchange of ideas. And that's the whole point of open source.

Sorry if this felt too rough. It was in response to "focus, waste time,
..." etc. which also felt rough, so that is my point.

No roadblocks, as I see.

Again, welcome - looking forward to your participation, thoughts, and
insights.

Kind regards,
Yarko
