Reductio ad absurdum ...

What if Ellen was appointed President of Ellen U.  A mob of Ellen 
Jamesians protested that
she wasn't Ellen-ish enough?  How would the lines of communication be 
established?

What if some of the Gallaudet students picketed with the Ellen Jamesians 
in solidarity.   How
would they communicate?  Cards can't be exchanged while one side is busy 
signing.

While I'm here I'd also like to inform interested parties that the 
Virgin Music Festival at Pimlico a few
weeks back was fantabulosa.  For those who are not conversant in Polari, 
or Latin, well you can't be
the President of my gang.
