No, it's not, but that alludes to public accomodations and services, where certain groups are segregated by the government by fiat or force. That is hardly the case with a defined group that wishes for a space where they can feel like they are not stigmatized, but rather the norm. That is a powerful feeling for those who have never had it, and if you have been part of such a "majority minority" gathering, it's a feeling you don't forget.
