I watched intently for a few months to see what the outcome would be,
being at that point a new contributor. No outcome was ever reached
that I saw. I suspect the strategy was to sweep it under the carpet:
we'll carry on as we are, and if anyone wants to file suit, we'll take
them seriously then.

Accordingly I took the same stance I assume others did: the (small,
thankfully) work I've done I release from any license, but you get no
more. I think the writing is on the wall and if you carried on
contributing in the hope of a favourable (moral) outcome, you were
naive in the extreme.

As such I doubt there is any _remaining_ objection to Apple's abusive
licenses in the context of Wesnoth.
