I don't know, is $X*0.3 going to do more bad to the world in Apple's hands than 
$X*0.7 (or *0.6 or whatever) will do good for the world in Wesnoth's hands? 
Seems kind of pessimistic to me. Also, I don't think it's a big cut; I think 
they run the App Store business to break even, because it benefits their 
platforms so much - from what I've heard, other distributors like Steam (and of 
course retail stores) take a much bigger cut. I don't think anything the 
Wesnoth project can do (distribution-wise at least) will significantly affect 
Apple.
