If it were put on the store for free, I would be willing to do it for free. However, I think this is a potential revenue stream for Wesnoth which is less problematic than iOS, since users really will be able to get the same thing free from the website if they want to. And I don't see any reason not to take advantage of it (the legalities aren't any different if it's paid or free, as far as I know). If it were to cost something (the minimum is $0.99), then I would want some amount. 10% was only a suggestion though, and I'm open to other suggestions.
It's not a lot of work, but most of it is pretty annoying (I know from submitting Frogatto to the iPhone App Store), and I doubt anyone else will step forward to do it for free. Of course if someone does want to do it for free, they're welcome to. I also don't expect it to end up being a lot of profit, since the Mac App Store is a new thing, it only works on the very latest version of Mac OS X (10.6.6), and we would be providing essentially the same thing for free on the website (I say essentially, because I would have to make a couple subtle changes, like making it x86-only and code signing, for the store). Also note: I've been told, and as far as I can tell it's true, that the App Store does not have DRM unless you implement it yourself (which obviously I wouldn't do). And whoever has the account has to do the codesigning, and therefore the uploading, so one can't simply "donate bandwidth"; they'd have to do the whole thing.
