Hmmm.., I got a real beauty here to work on. A Compaq Presario 1700 laptop, XP Home, typical college gal has a problem - it just constantly reboots till it's shut off or booted from a CD.
So reboot the CD & run the Recovery Console then type in FIXBOOT. I that doesn't do it I doubt it's the drive's MBR.
