Thank you for the name of the 3rd party provider. They have a kit
for the LG VX8100 <http://www.susteen.com/phones_universal.htm#LG3>
but beware just because there is a data kit available does NOT mean
one can surf the internet. Many phones allow one to manage their
phone's phone book via a computer. As a matter of fact if you go to
the link that I provide above it shows that the VX8100 does NOT
support Data Connect where as the LG VX7000 does which supports what
Diane & I have been saying in that Verizon will sell you anything
whether it's what you want or not.
To answer your question Chris I would just order the kit that you
need from DataPilot.
