AFAIK, all phones that are capable are now enabled for Nat Access (as of
about a year ago) - it's used for IM, picture messaging and crap that costs
and they want people to use it. oh, and the last i knew, the pda phones are
the only ones that will not work as a modem without a data plan. They'll
actually work, but you will be charged for usage, not for minutes.

Sorry but Nat'l Access has nothing to do with picture messaging & VZW only supplies one phone that does both the LG VX5200. If one searches the VZW website for Express Network then VZW provides links to National Access.

If one goes to the <http://www.susteen.com/phones_universal.htm#LG3> website it shows what I've been saying all along, not all phones work on data connections. The fact that a phone can use mobile web also has nothing to do with whether a phone can act as a fax/modem aka data connection.

Are you still using Q2N?

Oh no, I'm using Express Network's 1xRTT 14,400bps & am only using minutes but it sounds to me like Jim might be.
