Try taking out the power supply for a couple of the drives and see if that
makes a difference

My all means, it doesn't hurt to try the it with the power connections removed from some devices to see if the problem still exists & even then it's not conclusive until you find the culprit. To be perfectly honest each rail needs to be checked so see if they're supplying the full voltage & please don't forget the 12v side. Ain't that right Chuck? ;-)
