I hope so too ! I am sure that you will let us all know the results!

So far it has not locked up and I have been through one log off and logged back on over 2 hours later.

When a computer comes in with a video card fan freezing up and a dead motherboard and/or dead power supply, I refuse to give that video card another chance. A video card burnout due to overheating may have caused the motherboard failure. I will not risk a hundred dollar motherboard on an old video card that has a sticky fan.

When I declare a motherboard as inoperative, I have bench tested it hooked to another power supply, another video card, different memory etc. I have it out on my bench to ensure that it is not connected to anything else or grounding to the case etc.
