Could you do that and leave the router functionality of the wireless router turned on, thereby putting the laptop (and anything else connected to that router) on a sub-network? Would the sub-network be able to see the network shares of the parent network and vice versa? Or would the sub-network be isolated? Or would both routers need to be plugged into a separate switch to create two isolated LANs?
