I disagree wholeheartedly. Properly designed remote access works fine. Some of the linksys units, particularly the wifi ones with 3rd party firmware, and some of the Linksys VPN ones. Agreed, with the unit I was remotely accessing in Toronto, each reboot of the router after changing 1 setting caused the IP address to change.
