That's good news, Mike.  Will support of .deb packages (which was
included in 1.0 and the 2.0 beta versions) be restored to 3.0? 
Although it is possible to install (without using the install script)
version 2.0, the new installer might preclude doing that with version
3.0.  Or will it be possible to instalI/upgrade without the installer?

I use Win4Lin quite regularly, and although I have VMware installed
as well, it runs too slowly to be really useful to me.  

On the other hand, I moved from Red Hat to Debian over five years ago
and not even the lack of Win4Lin support would make me go back (no
flame intended)!
