You mean like win4lin? ;-) There are hundreds of Linux distributions, and Debian doesn't rank far behind the lead in terms of number of users. So Debian is not a marginal distribution. Companies can expert pressure from their customers to provide a Debian package. But, it's true, Debian is about free software. You won't find us bundling closed-sourced software in our main archive. I use almost no non-free software. Most of it is for Windows for work, and I use it under win4lin. So win4lin is one of the few closed-sourced apps I use under Linux.
