That's not what I'm debating - can't vouch for anyone else.

Maybe I need to write things a little clearer. This is exactly what I've
been saying I expect. I don't want new features. What I want is for what
I bought LESS THAN ONE YEAR AGO to continue working if I upgrade my
operating system by one revision. I want to see support for a kernel
revision that has been developed in the open for a long time, and the
release of which should surprise nobody.
Look ... I really don't expect anything to be done at this point. I will
pay for my upgrade and keep using what I still think is a damn fine
product. But I also want it to be totally clear to those at Netraverse
that I don't like the way they manage their business, and I will never
again supply them with any of my money.
I've been agonising over this for a couple of days now, and I still
can't believe that I'm being unreasonable. Maybe I am ... but that's how
it is.
Mike.
