e.g. any gnome application.
But all the libraries linked-to are needed on the system whether
it uses package management dependencies or not. Package
management dependencies just makes it easier.
In fact, Debian dependencies may actually lead to _less_ bloat.
I can install galeon and package management will pull in all
required libraries, individually. How does a system without
package management assure the user that the galeon tar.gz file
will work if it can't depend on the libraries being installed?
I presume it must either include all libs in the same .tar.gz or
put them in an alternate package that must be installed. Does
that package contain other libraries not needed by galeon but
perhaps by some other package that you haven't installed?
Package management dependencies assure you that the _minimum_
required is installed.
