Hi Enrique.  This can work for you and having it hands-on is
very nice with some obvious benefits.  Your list of benefits is
great, but it could go on and on with things that are better on
your computer than a slice of someone elses...

7) You can write custom CGI's that do anything and take as
     much CPU cycles as you need.
8) You can post whatever content you want, no AUP applies!
9) You can experiement with NT, W2K, Linux, etc.
10) etc, etc, etc....

There are literally 100's of things that are way better on your
own system at home vs someone else's system.  :-)

Nonetheless, I just meant that a consumer DSL connection is
not designed for hosting.  It's likely against your ISP providers
TOS and AUP (not that they will likely find out) and if you are
doing any reselling, that is also likely against their TOS.

Again, I'm not at all saying it can't work and that it wouldn't be
neat and fun and everything, but the fact is that residentail DSL
with a Dynamic (and often even a private) IP number is just not
designed to do this job.  :-)
