Define "much better"?  Their pricing isn't even CLOSE to being as low as
Pacbell's....and yes, pricing is an issue.....I'm getting the same
performance as the 3rd tier of Rawbandwidth.com for $30.00 per month
less......and other than having to fight with them to get connected
initially, the service has been flawless ever since.

RawBandwidth.com and Speakeasy.net are both *much* better, if you can get
them in your area.  I've used RawBandwidth.com for the last 18 months and
only had an outage when the DSL bridge power supply melted - which
RawBandwidth.com replaced at no cost in less than 36 hours total packet to
packet time.

If you can avoid the big boys, I'd recommend it.
