We use GoToAssist (made by the same people who make GoToMyPc) to get into the customers computer remotely and troubleshoot it that way. Most of the time we can figure it out without having to go to the customer house. Big time saver. Of course, there has to be at least enough bandwidth there to support the remote session, but usually it doesn't require that much.
