Wayne, Please run in terminal "httpd -V" and see what 'Architecture:' Apache is running as. There were a few older Mac Mini's that could run 10.6, but were not 64-bit capable CPUs. As such, you may be running Apache in 32-bit, but the Apache module that we ship with Witango 6 is for 64-bit installations. If this is the case, Apache will likely crash, although I don't know that for sure.
Let me know if your Apache is indeed 32-bit and I'll go back and look at building a 32-bit module. You can also test by temporarily not installing the Witango module. To do this, open the folder /private/etc/apache2/other - you should find the file "witango.conf" - if you change the extension it won't load, so edit it to "witango.off" and restart. If the Witango module is interfering with your Apache, this should prove it.
