No, I'm running a release version (and no gdb). The glitches don't
always happen -- just sometimes. Have you tried bigger buffers? Or
more buffers?

the popup "Log QSO" window; the other was (I think) related to what

buffering, for sure.
Yes, it seems to be on the edge of underflow all the time. I think this
may be a QAudio implementation bug on Windows. I am having some success
improving things but I'm not hopeful for users with slower machines.
Are you running a debug version or under gdb. I've found that makes
things much worse.
I'm just sorting out the Rx black areas then I'll update my sources and
do a check in.
