Hi Hussein, I am glad to tell you that the problem below is already solved. You are so great!!
I changed the language tag to "zh" (without the country code) instead of "zh-cn" everywhere, and then it runs correctly. Here I also want to consult with you some new questions regarding DITA: 1. How to control the toc depth for the PDF table of contents, that is, to customize how many section levels shall be included in toc? 2. In the PDF file, the copyright symbol © cannot be displayed. I was wondering this is because the map language is set to Chinese. 3. I have enabled the use-note-icon attribute, but the note icon (the default icon) in PDF has black background. Could you tell me how to remove the background color? 4. How to specify two types of fonts for the font-family attribute, with one font for Chinese and one for English words? My current situation is, I have set the font-family to a Chinese font type, then the English words in all sections except the titles are automatically displayed in Times New Roman. I want all the English words all in Arial. 5. At last, if you could spare time, I want to know how to add a block frame on all pages including the toc page. The frame embraces all the content on a page. Thank you so much for all your kind help! It is hard to find words to express my gratitude. This feature, called assembly, is part of DocBook 5.1. DocBook 5.1 is still beta (see http://docbook.org/). We are committed to fully support DocBook 5.1 as soon as it is officially released. > I have tried to create a DocBook Book file, but it does not support linking > to a section file. > You probably want to create a *modular* book, that is a book including chapters or appendices by *reference*, which themselves include sections by reference. (In fact, you may organize a modular book in any way you want.)
