Well, the idea behind this is

* Commands that you run regularly should be 1 single key. (No
  shift, ...)

* Other commands should be several key (just because you have a finite
  number of key on your keyboard !). There's a big difference between
  one key and several keys, but a smaller between two keys and two
  keys + shift on the first key.

Using shifted keys for prefix keys leave the whole keyboard (without
shift) for single keys commands.

It's not the perfect solution, but I think it's good.

One other thought: We're forgetting the control and meta keys that
could also be usefull in xtla modes.
