Yes, I'm aware of that concern. Between all my friends, at Apple Store and not, there are 2 Schools of thought on that! Some think at my PB G4, 1.67ghz, 2 GB RAM, would handle Leopard OK, and it would narrow the gap between Snow Leopard on 10.6.4 on the New MBP and Leopard, 10.5.8 on Powerbook G4. The other opinion is to keep PB G4 "Native" with Tiger, 10.4.11. > > With IMAP you can use Apple Mail on Snow Leopard in your new computer and > Entourage on Tiger on your old computer. Staying Native with 10.4.11 would be a safer route. I could use Entourage there, to manage my Old POP Mail, and use Safari for IMAP of the New Stuff. Since I clone my PB G4 daily with Superduper, I could "rehearse" Leopard on it, on the External HD and see how that goes!
