Honestly Anthony,

I am not familiar with Buddhism, Tantrism, Taoism, or Christianity, because I did not read every word in them, nor have I totally experienced any of them. To me these doctrines are just descriptions of different paths. They belong to the library or the shelf.

The only base from which I post is my practice, my witness, and those who practice the same way. Even those who practice the same way does not experience exactly the same thing.

It is alright for you to categorize my practice with any label. I don't agree or disagree. Because...

The reality is, "Chan is taught without words and out side of all teachings. It is a direct to our heart practice."

It is not complex, or unbelievable, or mysterious. Chan is actually very simple. Just a journey.

JM,

That your teacher can influence your karma directly is contrary to Buddhism. Karma is your own problem. Your teacher can guide you, but you have to take your own action to lessen or compensate for the influence of karma. He can manipulate your 'chi' to make you feel good. However, the potential influence of your karma still exists, though you think it is gone, because of your wonderful feeling. Why don't you follow Christianity or Islam, so that when you do something wrong, God can absolve you and you don't have any qualms. Wouldn't it feel even better?

I came to a preliminary conclusion that your chan school is a mixture of Buddhism (except for the doctrine of karma), Taoism and Tantrism. You can consider taking in Christianity or Islam to help combat bad karma (or its complete denial). If you don't agree, please explain.

Anthony

Yes DaMiZong is a very powerful practice if you have the right
teacher, because the teacher can carry your karma. It is
    mysterious and wonderful.

I personally do not need to. Our school do not teach Sexual
Tantrism. It is too risky. One of our practitioners got side
tracked and experienced hell and almost died.

I do not recommend such practice.

Nagarjuna (Longshu Pusa) was the grandfather of mahayana.
Tantrism also recognizes him as their initiator (truly or not is
up to discussion). 'Mizong' is another name for Tantrism, so you
    are an expert of Tantrism.
Tantrism is split into branches. One of them engages in 'sex
    ritual'. Do you do it?

        Hello Anthony,

I really am not familiar with Tibetan Tantrism. Please share
        with the forum.

For whatever its worth, the only thing that I have "heard"
was Tibetan Buddhism, or "Secret Order", or 『密宗』, was
taught by 『龍樹菩薩』,who is Chan Master. Therefore Chan
is also considered 『大密宗』, or "Grand Secret Order". There could be many similarities in the practice. Our
practice is called, 『秘密內證法』, or "Secret Inner
        Witness Dharma".

        :-)

Hello TMSO, (I hope you don't mind me using initials :-) )

Again very important question. Before I say anything I
like to repeat what my teacher often remind us,
"Practice and you shall witness. We all can." My words
            are only for your reference.

                * The Sitting Practice of Chan is mostly Tao. The
Words are most Buddhism, because 49 years of
teaching gave us a lot of terms to use. The
spiritual realms we reach however are universal
                  and label-less.
                * Stage one, we practice to reach Constant Turning
Of Dharma Wheels. In layman's language, that is
to cycle three energy channels passing all ten
chakras, three times, within a single breath. Then our body is pure. This will take about three
years for average person, if practices on a daily
basis. At this stage, our physical being
transforms into an energy being, we are naturally
fed with universal energy constantly. (I don't
have jet lag. Don't get tired.)
                * Ultimate Truth/Final Form/True Form is called by
some the Ninth Consciousness, or the Realm of
Light. It is the Truth, Kindness and Perfection.
Some call it the nature of the universe, or nature
of chan, or the nature of all of us. :-)

            Our meditation website is
            htttp://www.chan-meditation.org. And if you register
and log in at heartchan.org, there are about 8 or 10
video taught directly by our Lineage Chan Master, be
connected with His chi while listening to his words. There is English subtitle. Each is about 45 minutes long.

Let me know if you need more details. Thank you for
giving me this opportunity to share.

I meditate with a candle (candle gazing) and am able to
