I guessed he might be.
As to your warning;
I am fully aware of my own motivation and have no fear for the consequences of 
my non actions.
I have no interest in and therefore no fear of offending some status quo.
Since I have no control over what others might project how might I modify my 
behaviour to accord with those imaginings?

I am excited by the prospect of discourse with people who are not entirely 
asleep and no interest whatsoever in those who contentedly sleep on.
