Bill!,
Don't get "heavy" with me, now.
I have *just* "tasted" two bottles of the wonderful Thai Lager that you
referenced, in JPEG form, a few days ago. "Singha".
"Plaza" here has it, but only in 12 oz. size. I asked for the big size, 660
ml, what I called "tall-boys" (from my red-neck drinking days when I was a
Union Carpenter Apprentice, making money to save-up for tuition at my Ivy
college), and which they called "Bombers" at Plaza Liquors, other day.
What a wonderful Lager. The taste of grain, and a slight residual sugar,
sweetness of the Malt. So much more flavor that cheap American lagers. Why
don't we learn? But I switched to "real Ale" a long time ago, and brew it at
home myself. I can't do Lager(s), here, because it's not cold enough in this
hot desert, and I have no second refrigerator, nor do I want one. But this
Thai Lager is world-class, or larger. Why would I brew my own?
TNX!
When I can, I'll read you post straight, with un-crossed eyes, and respond. I
think!
Pity I only bought TWO little bottles! Merle is right: Conservative!
Cheers,
--Joe

[snip; under the circumstances]
