Joe,

The idea of a Creator God who personally intervenes on our
behalf is a meta-physical and/or superstitious idea that gets more credence by
having a proper-noun label for those that don't believe in said idea. That's my
point about not having a label for those of us who don't believe in leprechauns
or a flat-earth etc. I just don't see any evidence for one (a personal god) and
giving me a label gives the idea a status it doesn't deserve (compared to other
ideas with absolutely no evidence or necessity).

People who just use
the label 'God' as a shorthand for something other than a personal god (such as
'universal energy', Love, Ground of Being etc.) isn't the "God" I'm talking
about.

Mike

Sent from Yahoo! Mail for iPad
