Is this I AM necessary? What if we let the exalted I AM go?
Well, I do, but it returns like a overfed pigeons to the park bench. I
don't mind shooing my ego away when I notice it, but I don't want to
spend my whole life shooing pigeons. If I was really clever, I'd find
away to get the pigeons to respond to my commands. Clean up this, carry
my groceries home, etc :)

Don't leave out the fear. :) When fear comes up, what is it? What's
really going on there? Isn't it the fear of losing self? Fear of
letting go? Isn't it just self-grasping that is not releasing?
Well, in the same way that I can't let go of the Ultimate Truth, I can't
let go of my fear. I can't nail its squirrley ass down enough to
extricate it. At times, its useful to cut it down to size, if I see it
getting out of hand. But life is full of fear. Again I would be a
pigeon shooer if I spent my time chasing off the illusion of self/feare
with all my efforts.

What is troublesome about impermanent things? What if we let go of
them?
Funny. I'll have to think about that one, thanks. I'll roll it up into
the same stuff Fudo's telling me.
