Well, you haven't paid me anything, but I'll nonetheless give you some free support. Radeon 9000 is totally unsupported in Red Hat Linux 8.0. It is however supported in Red Hat Linux 9, which comes with XFree86 4.3.0, which is the first release of XFree86 to support the Radeon 9000, including 3D acceleration. >I'd like to have the option of running both the RH 4.2 and >the 4.3 with out having to reload the whole distro and them go through >the 130meg's of online updates to get the system current...
