In the summer they have to be shaved because they are
too hot. It's like wearing a fur coat in 90 degree
weather, he is much more comfortable. There is a
picture of him after he was shaved I think in his
picture area. I have to take a comb to Shaggy all the
time on his face and under his neck and all over
periodically to combat the matts. He likes being
brushed and combed but good advice is to do it after
they get exercise and they are tired. I do it when
Shag is on the floor resting.
