This is a bit of support for Sebastian. I'm relatively new to the
qooxdoo community, so I may not understand all of the history.

Having followed the mailing list for 3 months, I believe that
Sebastian has been extremely patient with feature requests, false
alarms on bug reports, etc. I have been impressed by his willingness
to add features to the library (and to help out newbies when they
don't quite get the system). He has accomodated community
contributions by making them available in the subversion repository.

He has been a careful guardian of the integrity of the product. Yes,
he has high standards for the code -- it needs to fit in with the
overall design philosophy.

It takes time for a designer to develop a trusted community of
coders -- we all think our submissions are of the highest quality,
but ultimately, they have to fit into the qooxdoo philosophy.

I hate to bring up the "f" word, but there is always the option
of forking off the codebase and taking it in a more community-
driven direction. But I don't want to see that happen. I think
that Sebastian is the best possible custodian of the qooxdoo
library. I hope that all the talented developers can find a way
to work within the system.

You can't argue with results -- qooxdoo is an impressive body
of work. I think that ultimately, it would be great if a core of
developers could maintain the library and guide it forward. For
now, I think Sebastian is doing a fantastic job. Keep up the
good work!
