I've just got up & running with the latest SC7 nightly (SqueezeCenter
Version: 7.0 - 16329 - Debian - EN - utf8) and I've noticed that
Last.FM is not in the radio menu in the WebUI, although it is in the SB
menu. I assume that it's the same problem as discussed here in relation
to alienbbc

Just updated to the Dec 19th nightly and now LastFM shows up under
Internet Radio, as it should. I'm using the same plugin as I was a week
ago, and even the same plugin preferences file, but something has
changed for the better.

I can't get this to download from SourceForge using a variety of
download sites.
Usually do manage to get things from there OK.
The DL stats show as 0 - but I don't know if that means it is failing
for all or no-one else has tried.

There's no problem having both plugins installed.
You could try setting server.plugins logging to debug, and check the
box for 'save logging settings', then restart SlimServer.
It seems like the problem is that SlimServer is aware the plugin has
been installed, but is not loading it correctly.
Nope, nothing showing up in the log (ie, nothing to do with scrobbling,
or any plugins except for some harmless messages re LazySearch2). Note
that I have the new built-in audioscrobbler enabled, and it is
scrobbling my tracks to last.fm. Could that be creating a conflict?

I'm running on a debian-based Buffalo LinkStation, and everything is
under /usr/local/slimserver.
3rd party plugins: /usr/local/slimserver/Plugins/
SqueezeScrobbler: /usr/local/slimserver/Plugins/SqueezeScrobbler/

Scrobbling support is built in, LastFM radio is not (yet).
So you still need to install SqueezeScrobbler to listen to LastFM.

I'm a tad confused - hoping you can clear up something. I'm running SC7
beta under OS X (Tiger). I'd like to be able to scrobble and play my
various Last.FM stations via my SB3.
Is Last.FM support built into SC7, or do I still need to install the

Apologies for hijacking James' thread, but I've been trying the inbuilt
Last.fm plugin (SC7.0 nightly from two weeks ago [been on hols!]) and
have reverted to the SlimScrobbler/Last.fm combo. This is because I
can't find a way to change the Last.fm user from the SB menus (as

Well it seems my problems were down to one particular build of
Squeezecenter - after upgrading Last.FM is being recognised properly
and i can access the config pages and it's in the internet radio menu
of my SB3.

I am finding that when I attempt to play a LastFM station and then
minimise the WebUI (IE7.0), the minimised window keeps restoring itself
on each page refresh. I have only noticed this with LastFM.

Scrobbling seems to be working fine from my SB3 but not from
Squeezeslave.
Wierd, why should that be?

Please switch to classic skin if you want to edit settings. They haven't
been done in the new Default skin, yet.

I found quite a few bugs in the player menus, thanks to Matt, and have

It looks like your SlimServer cannot connect to the internet sometimes.
There are messages in the log that both audioscrobbler.com and
squeezenetwork.com cannot be connected to. Possibly a Vista/firewall
issue?
There also seems to be a LastFM password issue - probably worth
entering it again.

Hi James,
After some searching, I found that in vista, the directory can be found
at c:\ProgramData\SlimServer. ProgramData is a hidden directory.
Clearing the cache has solved the settings issue. I now have full
settings with labels. However, after configuring, the scrobbling still
does not see

One question, as this seems to have changed in SqueezeCenter: where is
the cache located? I am running Windows Vista...

Hi Matt, seems like you've solved the missing strings. You could see in
the log file that SlimServer wasn't loading the strings.txt file from
SqueezeScrobbler (look for Loading String File).
The missing web page I don't know. It could be an artifact of starting
with the plugin in the wrong place.
