I am trying to set up postfix to work as an MTA on my laptop and send mail
through mtnl server (i connect using mtnl broadband from home). The e-mails are
not going through...they seem to be ending up in some blackhole.
Does anyone here have experience with postfix, and in particular, with

Why are you trying to run e2* commands on a non-ext filesystem? Of
course, e2label will complain!
If you are sure about /dev/hda6 being your swap, then do the following:
1. Backup fstab
2. replace the UUID column of your swap line with /dev/hda6.

'/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d'. There is no directory called mkinitramfs (at
least on my system). And I did what you have suggested in
'/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d', and it worked.
It remains a mystery why I did not face the problem in Dapper Drake if, as
you say, it was there even then.
Also, shouldn't something be done to ensure that the problem if taken care
of when people upgrade from dapper drake to edgy.

I have had this problem with IRCTC for a long time. I use State Bank
of India for payment when I book a ticket at IRCTC. If I try to do it
on firefox/linux (and I have tried it more than once), IRCTC takes you
to the bank website for the payment, the transaction is made, and then

It is disgusting that I can't handle a simple mounting issue!!
I am trying to mount an external usb disk on a debian etch server but
somehow it just won't recognise the disk.

i found this a great read, but do look out for exact licenses of each app.
