I think you need the SoundBlaster Creative Audigy (for Windows XP, if you're
using that). Your PC Live may well be a single-chhannel card - it sounds
like an older model - and Winamp runs fine with JAWS on single-channel
cards. A driver is the set of instructions that makes a software program

Hi,
When I played with my brother's new PC yesterday afternoon which is running
Windows Vista Home Basic, There was a volume button in the System Area (not
the Notification Area) of the system tray. I don't remember where they are
located if the icon in the system tray is not displayed, though.
Could someone point me in the right direction where to get the Adobe reader
that works with JFWS 8.0127? Was on the Adobe site and got lost.

volume control.
Hope this helps.

You are right. CTRL+PageUp will take you back one page. You can also
do CTRL+Shift+S and enter a page number to go directly to a
particular page. This is useful if you got a lot of pages.
You can find this information and other short-cut keys by entering Insert+H.
Hope this helps.
I use Ad Aware and Spybot on a weekly basis to check for spyware. Never used
Spy Sweeper, so can't comment on that one. Hope that hels.

Hi Patti,
These are 2 different programs.
The names are a clue as to what they are:
ad-aware: removes adware.
Spy-bot: removes spyware.
Don't put a lot of thought into the names.
Just remember, that both work well, with Jaws, do the job for which they were
intended, and are
free.
Install them,

Patty, I personally recommend both, simply because Ad Aware often picks up
more malware than Spybot. However this is my observation, so your mileage
may vary, as they say. Hope that helps.

JAWS is reporting correctly, the way you have been trying. Go into tools
Internet Options with alt+t, o; then go to the Connections tab and explore
it. You probably need to set the radiobutton 1 of 3 to never dial a
connection.
