That keystroke is not for whether or not JAWS speaks the paragraph marks.
The CTRL Shift 8 command was Word's way to show or hide paragraph marks for
anyone whether or not using JAWS. In Word 2013 the keystroke doesn't work.
Instead, Alt followed by H followed by 8 is the way marks

I was aware of programs that do that kind of thing. I have never used such
an animal but it is good to know that they are out there if the need arises.
They enter blocks of text and lots of other things preprogrammed in to their

as I can tell.
By default, it opens the Windows Search, and will open a more tailored
search in Outlook Express.
I haven't tested it in other programs.

One thing you can try is to make sure the "new lines and paragraphs" option
in quick settings is set to off. Use JAWS key V and in the quick settings
search box type in "new lines" (without quotes) and use down arrow to the
result. Use spacebar if it is not set to Off already.

carry streams of NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts from various cities like they
