Every SDM lens I have used has been dog slow. My Bigma crushes the 60-250 in terms of focusing speed. My 20-40 is pretty slow too. Thankfully I rarely shoot action. The SDM lenses seem to hunt less but they do seem to micro adjust a lot which makes focus kind of on the slow side. the 17-70 i have

That film was never developed. That usually happens when the film is loaded onto steel reels and two layers of film get into one slot. The bad load onto the reel can be caused by the reel being bent. I don't know how to fix the latter problem, and the film is no longer fixable either...
