Sunday was a beautiful spring day, and we needed a hike. So, we headed for the
Trolley Trail in northwest Philadelphia. There were almost no signs of spring

Love it. The lighting, composition, and wide-angle distortion work together
beautifully.

Excellent shot. It doesn’t give me the “warm fuzzies,” but it sure makes me
want to wrap up in one!

Great shot! I like the misty background, and the way the road and canal
converge at the farm in the background.

I tried some photos last night while it was coming down, but haven’t had a
good look at them yet.
This morning there were 6-8 inches of layered snow, sleet, and ice on the
ground. Got my morning outdoor exercise with the snow shovel. It’s a heavy
mixture.

Very nice! I like the light and shadowed areas on the building, and the way the
windblown tree on front of beh building echoes the shadows along the walkway .

Well, I have 15 years of emails on Yahoo. I often search them for various
reasons. Even if I could migrate them, it would be a PITA.

Really nice gallery again. My favorite is Toine’s; the minimalism really works
wonderfully.

I moved from a K10D to a K-7, and was very happy (for a time) with the
sensitivity of the sensor. I also liked the appearance of the photos.
When the K-5 came out, I waited a year for the bugs to get squashed, and then
got one. I’m still using it happily.
My son and daughter-in-law just
Starkly minimalist. I like it!

Peter, I’ve shot that building several times over the years that my parents
were living nearby. Several years ago it looked as though it was going to fall
down; and the following year it had a new roof, porch, and paint job. Now it
looks as though it’s decaying again.
