If anyone can make contact to get me 2 bottles of Scalecoat paint and get
them to me it would be greatly appreciated.

Ironically I just shipped a USRA Mike only to receive a USRA Pacific the
next day. I have not worked on a Pacific until now. Both are Overland locos
but I was VERY surprised to see that both were not made by Ajin. The Pacific
is made by MS models. I don't know the time span between their release.
Group,
I hadn't visited the groups' Yahoo page in a while, although my account
had been neoed very early on. Wanting to look at the photos people had
posted in the past week, I logged into my account. I found this with

Not sure where you get your info, but Overland's USRA Lt. Mike and USRA 0-8-0
were both built by Ajin in 1985 and 1986 respectively. The OMI USRA Pacific
came form M.S. Models in 1989 - 1990. M.S. also did several Overland Sn3
locomotives as well as the RDG 2-8-0 Camelback in standard
Hi Peter;
This appears to be very useful (I have to assume, I'm not Neo-ed yet. Does
that make me Paleo?)
In any case, may we make this part of a FAQ for the list? I can see that being
handy for a while.
Best regards;

Coal production has ceased at the Unseamly Mining Co leaving the Canada

As an owner/moderator of a Yahoo group all you have to do is click on the photo
in the header. My groups use to have a guy with hands on a laptop, no more. You
can't change the photo to one that is in one of the groups albums but you can
upload a new photo from your computer. This of course can
Peter,
Three of my Yahoo Groups have been able to set up the groups home page photo,
so it can be done. I agree with you: there are some benefits to the new
interface. The problem is how they went about springing it on us, and the slow
progress that NEO is making in working the bugs out,
Rusty,
Will you be selling these gear boxes? Drivers? I have a rex 040 kit that needs
scale drivers and repowering.
Thanks

i can certainly confirm the wisdom of packing the pilot separately for
shipping: the OVL RDG I-8 a friend bought for me from the Maurer auction of the
Bortz collection had the pilot damaged severely posting it from New Jersey to
Minnesota, despite careful packing and lots of styrofoam pellets.
I have no plans on selling the drivers. The best option would have been to buy
the 51 drivers from Dan at River Raisin when he imported the USRA 0-6-0's. Any
one that has the REX Mogul or the Suburban, which use 57 inch drivers, your
best option right now would be to order 57 in drivers from

Yes, I was able to change one of the group's home page photo by simply
hovering over the photo (which I had not done before), which then
displays a change cover button, which in turn allows you to select a
photo of your choice from your computer's disk drive.

Rusty,
There's a more economical solution then what you suggest plus you get the scale
110 48 drivers that are proper for the dockside. I bought drivers, axles, and
bearing blocks ( that happen to fit into the 040 frame perfectly from a company
in New Zealand for about $10 plus shipping. All
I've purchased many products from North Yard in NZ. Mostly the diesel drives
for SW, NW and RS's. They have excellent products!
I'm not a fan of plastic driver centers and nickle plated brass driver tires
though.
About 12 years ago I used some of Alan Gibson's (England) plastic driver

I have been working on updating my web site. Over the past couple of
weeks I have been adding photo albums of prototype photos I have
taken. What I have done is shown the normal size photos that I normally
use on my web site, but then
I can say this only theoretically, as I am waiting until after I get relocated
to start one of Bill Wade's MaPa 2-8-0 kits, but from a preliminary read of
the instruction sheets, a quartering jig is included, so if you are close to
someone who owns a kit, you could borrow one from him. A lot

Thanks for the info, Rusty mention North Yard in one of his post and that is
who I purchased the parts from.
