Hi!
I'm using the staging/live setup for some time now but somehow, it doesn't
work as expected. I always thought stuff that wasn't approved wouldn't be
copied to the live site at all, but in reality everything seems to be
published as soon as I hit the Publish button in Aegir.
One example:
I'd volunteer if someone could tell me what modifications I'd have to make :-)

Hi!
My midgard sites have been online now for about a week and I'm getting a
number of reports about login failures. That is, users can log into the
site (and are greeted with their name), but as soon as they click on a
link, they are redirected to the login screen (so obviously their login
Hi!
Sorry if I'm flooding the list (again), but you know how it is, all
errors tend to happen at the same time :-)
I was troubleshooting one of these errors when I looked at phpMyAdmin's
runtime information and it seems that the MySQL server is getting an
average of 90 queries per second or
Hi!
I just tried to enter information in the extra1 field for articles but the
information isn't saved when I submit. In fact, I tried all three extra
fields and they all aren't saved into the db. Did I do anything wrong or is
this a bug in 1.0.1 (editing name, title and everything else works

Hi!
At hte moment, I'm trying to convert my site from live only to staging/live.
The problem I have is that the scripts seems to be buggy. For example,
/var/lib/aegir/bin/apacheupdate.pl contains wrong path names, the wrong IP
address and so on.
Also, whatever script is responsible for

Hi!
I'm still trying to find out why my login script doesn't work. I tinkered
around a bit and found out that if I remove
if ($GLOBALS['nemein_auth_user']-password == $password)
auth_login_remember() works like it should. It logs me in and sets the
NemeinAuthRemember cookie. The
P.S.:
I further narrowed down the problem and it seems that
$server_hash =
md5($person-username.$person-password.$nemeinnet[system_secure_string]);
is the culprit. For some reason, $person-username returns the correct
username and $person-password returns nothing...

Hi!
I just wanted to know if there is an easy way to upgrade the htmlarea code
that is part of midcom. There was a new version released just the day midcom
1.2.0 came out and I wanted to upgrade (because of bugs and to get the
ContextMenu plugin l10n).
Bye,
Af.
Hi!
since upgrading htmlarea seems to be more complicated than I originally hoped
(I'll give it a try after we meet the deadline. If we meet the deadline, that
is...), I turned back to authentication once again. What our client wants is
user-friendly (i.e. insecure) authentication, so that a
Hi!
Now that the basic features for my shiny new midagrd websites are in place (so
hopefullfy the number of posts from me will go down :-), we started to
migrate the content into the new system. This works quite well, but one
strange thing happens: Whenever we insert a table which has td
