I have installed FreeBSD 4.7 on an AlphaServer 1200 5/533 with the latest SRM installed. The AlphaServer has the standard PowerStorm 4D10T PCI video card which is a 3DLabs Permedia2 chipset and TI TVP4020C RAMDAC w/ 8Mb onboard. The version of XFree86 is 4.2.1 as supplied in the ISO package.

Since I sent the log I had discovered the bone head mistake I was making. I had restore my old system when I received the this system and the old system had an Nvidia card. One item that remained that was giving me most of the trouble was libglx.so that was compile specificly for the Nvidia.
