If there is a legitmate problem in this specific case, I do hope you are able to identify and it have the appropriate people notified.
What a lot of your posts amount to, is saying that something is broken in MIDI, somebody go fix it. I am glad that you are putting together a test case so that others can replicate your experiments, this is pretty critical to tracking down timing issues. You need to have a standard test that can be run on many different machines so that the output can be compared. Even if you find out that the problem is your motherboard, that is still useful to know (and perhaps can be fixed by kernel developers). At this point you still have to figure out what specifically is broken and that takes time and effort. > And by the way, it's not me who bites, for example, take a look at other > rt-audio threads, e.g. > All I meant was that you seem to draw a disproportionate amount of ire from the various lists that you post to. This suggests to me that there is something about your posts that causes people to react in a strong negative fashion. The tragedy is if you really are trying to help, that your message gets lost. By the way, by running these tests and co-ordinating the responses, you are making the transition from a passive user to an actual contributer. Congratulations and keep it up. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkpBDS8ACgkQwRXgH3rKGfPtjwCfRlqHdxG7qHf+gTbaEzYhHDeM a0gAmwS17EfG9GRluJNB3wDt9wWA7MJI =HxKh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ 64studio-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.64studio.com/mailman/listinfo/64studio-users
