Hi:
I might have added these questions. Does it feel hot to the touch?
Does the fan run steady? Does the ventilated air coming out seem
hot?
There are air intake holes underneath and the intakes must not be
obstructed. I say a "professional" cleaning because most people
cannot do this. It should be done at least once a year if the PC is
not used in very dusty places. The optical drive needs cleaning
also. A professional cleaning means with some disassembling.
A "Lick and a promise" cleaning can be done with an "Air Bomb"
(compressed air can) by blowing into all the openings on the
Laptop while the fan is running. You will need to turn the PC
upside down and side to side during this process and that will
certainly show an improvement. You want the fan running if
possible so that dislodged particles can be carried away. Hope
this helps.
Emile
