I went on to Toshiba.com and there is actually a fix for 'wrong machine', so let's see if it works.

I've had 4 laptops and some do not have much tolerance for dusty interiors. Desktops not so completely crowded and have bigger fans. Shutdown usually occur with a light clunking sound and a blank screen.
