Oh, I wasn't sugesting that you could copy the disk successfully. I was just 
trying to avoid using the original disk for actual OS installs. As for 
getting a replacement disk from MS, if you have had the disk quite awile. 
You might have even been able to  take it back to the store if you noticed 
that it was cracked before opening the pkg. But MS and others are so bummed 
out by pirates that they have no interest in the old 'the customer is always 
right' idea. Today is is 'ths customer is always wrong'.
