I have not had good enough results from those services. And I would have to pay for the service to be allowed to send files of that size. :-( Jim Jim I have just signed up for a free account with SendThisFile it allows you to upload files of up to 2GB with an allowance of 5GB, it lets you send Email links providing access to friends and family etc, I tested this, as they suggest, by uploading and downloading a file, it was in my opinion very quick. Perhaps you and your son, could it give a try. The amount of time that you can store files is limited. I think its primarily intended as a daily back up. _https://www.sendthisfile.com/_ (https://www.sendthisfile.com/) I got hold of an XP Pro with SP2 disk (blue label and packaging), I hope its deletion and write protected. Well, as you probably realise that when they talk about uploading files they mean files, not folders or whole CDs. Many of thousands of files make up Windows XP and is 585mb. So I have found out that in this instance I have been defeated LOL But SendThisFile appears to work well.
